Ad Hoc - HB Form of Government Committee

The City Commission, at their August 22, 2017 appointed nine Holmes Beach residents to serve on the new Ad Hoc - HB Form of Government Committee.  The Citizen Committee was formed to review the current Holmes Beach form of government and develop recommendations for change as appropriate.  The review will examine the full spectrum of options available to the City as to the best form of government to provide stable, responsive, cost effective administrative and operational services to its citizens, and ensure progress and continuity as the City moves through the foreseeable future.  The form of government options to be reviewed and evaluated range from the current Mayor/Commission structure on one end of the spectrum-  to a pure Council/Manager structure on the other end, as well as various merged options between the two. 

Meetings are held every other Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Patricia A. Geyer Commission Chambers.  All  meetings are open to the public.
