the swale or storm drain needs cleaned?
Call the Public Works Department at

problems. If you have an ongoing

from Public Works will meet with you to

The sanitation truck did not pick-up my trash - what should I do?
Contact Waste Management at (941)-753-7591for problems with your trash, recycling or yard waste pick up or to set up trash pick-up and order green trash containers. Blue recycling bins are available at City Hall, 5801 Marina Drive. If you need further assistance with a problem contact the City at 941-708-5800.
What is the garbage pick-up schedule?
NORMAL SCHEDULE
Garbage pick up is Tuesday & Friday.
Recycling pick up is Monday.
Yard Waste pick up is Wednesday.

If your pickup day for solid waste, recycling or yard waste falls on one of the following holidays, please note the alternate holiday pickup schedule for that week:

Who to I contact regarding an unattended dog roaming around my neighborhood?
Manatee County Animal Control is responsible for picking up stray dogs and cats. They can be reached at 941-742-5933.
Who do I call for dead wildlife removal
or rescue on my property?
For wildlife removal call 941-778-3455 or for
wildlife rescue call 941-778-6324.
While walking on the beach, I noticed some
turtle nests that may be in danger. Who
should I notify?
Contact Turtle Watch at 778-5638 or call Suzi Fox, head of the organization for this area, at 941-713-5410. Sea turtles are a protected species and many agencies and volunteer groups devote time and money to preserve the species.
Who do I call regarding the trimming of vegetation along the beach/dune?
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) issues field permits for such trimming. They can be contacted locally at 941-861-6357.
