Currently serving as the Commission's Chair/Deputy Mayor, Judy Titsworth was elected as Commissioner in November 2012 for a two-year term expiring November 2014. She was re-elected to the Commission November 2014, and again in 2016. Her current term expires November 2018.
Commissioner Titsworth was elected by the Commission to serve as Vice-Chair 2012-2013. In 2013, she was elected to serve as Commission Chair, a position she continues to fill through November 2018.
Commissioner Titsworth attended the University of Alaska and Manatee Community College majoring in business. She has spent the last 30 years in the construction and development industry.
Community involvement includes serving as a Wildlife Rehabilitator for over 30 years. Commissioner Titsworth also enjoys the outdoors - fishing, scuba diving, boating, and is also an artist.
Commisisoner Titsworth serves as the Roads, Bridges, Canals, and Erosion Liaison and the Code Enforcement Liaison for the City. She also serves as alternate for the Manatee County Emergency Operations Center. Commissioner Titsworth and her husband Steve have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
